Description	:	Joseph R. "Joe" Kriz,68, of 710 Gilbertville Road, died Thursday afternoon, June 25, at the Veterans Medical Center, Iowa City, of a heart attack. He was bom Jan. 16, 1924, in Clutier, son of Joseph and Christina Kadrmus Kriz. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He married Elizabeth Smith April 10, 1951, in Waterloo. He was employed for 36 years in the sliced bacon department of Rath Packing Co., Waterloo, retiring in 1984.
