Description	:	Mrs Christina Kriz, 84, well-known, long time Clutier area woman, died unexpectedly at the family home, Monday morning, Aug 30. She had been in her usual health and her death was attributed to a heart condition. Born May 7, 1898 in Traer, she was the daughter of Joseph and Frances Solil Kadrmas. She received her education in the area of her birth, where she grew to womanhood. On Feb 16, 1920, she married Joseph F Kriz of rural Clutier. The couple farmed west of Clutier. Read More	Mrs Christina Kriz, 84, well-known, long time Clutier area woman, died unexpectedly at the family home, Monday morning, Aug 30. She had been in her usual health and her death was attributed to a heart condition. Born May 7, 1898 in Traer, she was the daughter of Joseph and Frances Solil Kadrmas. She received her education in the area of her birth, where she grew to womanhood. On Feb 16, 1920, she married Joseph F Kriz of rural Clutier. The couple farmed west of Clutier. Mr Kriz died on Feb 28, 1953 and Mrs Kriz continued residing on the farm with her sons. She was a member of the St Wenceslaus Catholic Church, rural Clutier and the Rosary Society. She is survived by seven children, Ludwig J, Alfred J, Frank M Kriz, all of Clutier, Joseh R and Melvin F Kriz, both of Waterloo, Mrs Evelyn C Carlson, Chelsea and Martha M (Mrs James) Breja, Vining; 20 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, a brother, Joseph Kadrmas, Traer, and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband she is preceded in death by an infant son, a daugher, Pauline, a grandson and four sisters. Rosaries were recited in Hand's Clutier Funeral Chapel at 430 and 730 pm Tuesday, with Sharon Breja, Dawn Kupka, LaVonne Kriz and Marcella Kriz in charge of Mass offerings. The funeral Mass was celebrate at 1030 Wednesday in St Wenceslaus Catholic Church, rural Clutier, with Father Louis Wunder, the celebrant, assisted by Fr Joseph Surovy, pastor of st Mary's Church, Vining. Ronnie Breja and Bruce Kriz were altar boys. Mrs Catherine McLean, organist accompanied the church choir. Floral tributes were cared fro by Mr and Mrs Adolph Sevcik and Mrs and Mrs Ben Svoboda. Burial was in St Wenceslaus Catholic Cemetery, rural Clutier, with the following serving as casket bearers: Alan Breja, Bill Carlson, Alan Wolf, John Carlson, Jeff Kriz, and Jimmy Kriz.
