Read More	Korean War Veteran Was Reeves Brothers Retiree Joseph William "Joe" "Papaw" Cash, 72, of Buena Vista, died Monday, April 26, 2004 in the Stonewall Jackson Hospital in Lexington. Mr. Cash was born on November 7, 1931 in Buena Vista, a son of the late Bennett G. Cash, Sr. and Ethel Howell Cash. He was a member of the Buena Vista Presbyterian Church and was retired from Reeves Brothers with 25 years of service. He was a veteran of the U.S. army, having served in the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion #126 in Buena Vista and was a full-time father and grandfather. He was very active in the Parry McCluer Sportsman's Club, where he also served as secretary. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen George Cash. Mr. Cash is survived by one daughter, Debbie Prasnicki of Rockbridge County; two sons: Brent William Cash and wife Shelley of Buena Vista; Joseph Gregory Cash and wife, Paula, of Greensboro, NC; three brothers: Eugene J. Cash of Danville, Carlyle P. Cash of Shelbyville, TN and Donnie P. Cash of Buena Vista; two sisters: Mary Stillson of Buena Vista, Glenidene C. Hubbard of Buena Vista and seven grandchildren: Chase Prasnicki, Lauren Prasnicki, Tyler Prasnicki, J.P. Cash, Juliette Cash and "his little Angel", Lilley Helena Cash. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 29, 2004 at the Buena Vista Presbyterian Church with Rev. Robert McMullen officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery in Buena Vista. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Buena Vista Presbyterian Church. Arrangements are being handled by the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Service, Buena Vista.
