Description	:	Josephine Ann Bialas, 86, of Genoa, died Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2010, at the Genoa Long Term Care. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, at St. Rose of Lima Church in Genoa. Rev. Frank Jindra will be officiating. Interment will be at the Valley View Cemetery in Genoa. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Sunday, with a 7 p.m. vigil at the church. Visitation continues from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Monday morning, also at the church. The couple lived in Merrick and Nance County. Josephine was a member of St. Rose of Lima Church and enjoyed crocheting, fishing and playing cards. She is survived by her daughter, Theresa (Leonard) Brezenski, of Columbus; daughter, Joyce (Jim) Sock, of Albion; sister-in-law, Tessie (Marion) Slusarski, of Columbus; granddaughter, Karen (Paul) Bartholomew, of Papillion; granddaughter, Cheri (Ken) Knapp, of Columbus; grandson, Gerry Brezenski, of Columbus; grandson, Allen (Pam) Brezenski, of Minot, N.D.; granddaughter, Shelli (Tim) Cornwell, of Genoa; grandson, Chris (Penny) Sock, of Albion; granddaughter, Cathy (Casey) Garrod, of Norfolk; granddaughter, Shari Sock, of Cedar Rapids; and 27 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alex Bialas, in 1998; father, Sylvester Borowiak; mother, Katherine Borowiak; sister, Barbara Bialas; sister, Alphonsia Borowiak; and brother, Emil Borowiak
