Byers and James Suchy of this city, passed away at her home in Vining Friday. Mrs. Keeler, who was well known here, had been a resident of Vining and its vicinity for many years, and had a large acquaintance in that section. The deceased was a... Read More	Mrs. Josephine Keeler Passed Away Friday. Burial Sunday Afternoon. Mrs. Josephine Keeler, mother of "Mesdames A. W. Byers and James Suchy of this city, passed away at her home in Vining Friday. Mrs. Keeler, who was well known here, had been a resident of Vining and its vicinity for many years, and had a large acquaintance in that section. The funeral was held from the home of John Riha, a son-in-law, Sunday afternoon. and the service was in charge of the Rev. John A. Deedrick of Bethany church. Interment was in the Vining cemetery. The deceased was a native of Bohemia, where she was born on June 29, 1861. She passed away on November 8th at Vining at the age of 67 years, 4 months and 9 days. For more than forty years her home had been in the vicinity of Vining, and here the husband passed away fifteen years ago. Besides other relatives, she leaves to mourn her death three daughters, Mrs. A. W. Byers and Mrs. J. Suchy of this city and Mrs. John Riha of Vining. Another daughter, Mrs. N. Compton passed away about the time the father died, and a son, James B. was drowned about four years ago. Mrs. Keeler was a deep student of the bible and lived a devout Christian life.
