Description	:	HOLD LAST RITES FOR MAR. FRANK S. PIERSON Mrs. Frank S. Pierson, resident of Villisca many years died Friday noon at the Clarkson Hospital in Omaha after 7 months illness. The body was brought to the Wolfe Funeral Home to await the funeral service which was held Monday afternoon in the Methodist Chruch, conducted by Rev. L. H. Athey. The singing was by Mrs. Robert Rusk, accompanied by Mrs. J. L. Wheeler and in charge of the flowers were Clara Wolfe, Anna Freeman, and Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Danielson. Josie Nordyke, daughter of Sylvester B. and Mary Ann Nordyke, was born May 4, 1881 in Marshall County, Iowa and was 68 years old at her death. Her early childhood was spent in southern Kansas. She was married August 2, 1889 to William E. Hill and to this union one daughter, now Mrs. Albert E. Lee, was born. She and her daughter and her parents moved to Villisca in 1902. She was married March 21, 1922 to Frank S. Pierson. In addition to her husband and daughter, she is survived by 7 grandchildren, a great grandson, all of Villisca; a brother Harold Nordyke, Villisca; and three sisters, Mrs. Lora B. Scott, Columbus, Kansas, Mrs. J. B. Burrows, Hugoton, Kansas, and Mrs. Alta Scholey, Villisca. She was preceded in death by her parents, 5 brother, and one sister.
