Description	:	Josephine, daughter of Alois and Louisa Schober Thiel, was born in Wildgrub, Bohemia in July of 1876. Her father Alois had come to America in 1882 and then sent for his family to join him in 1883. Mother Louisa, Anna, and Josephine left Hamburg 28 March 1883 and arrived in New York on April 13,1883 aboard the ship Wieland. They joined Alois, in Polk County, Nebraska. Read More	Josephine, daughter of Alois and Louisa Schober Thiel, was born in Wildgrub, Bohemia in July of 1876. Anna and Josephine attended school in District 85 known as Prairie Bell. Josephine and Henry M. King were married in Buffalo County on November 12, 1895. Their daughter, Leona, was born in Nebraska before the family moved to California. On the 1920 census, the family was living in Berkley, California and owned a grocery store. Louis Unick and Josephine King were married in Los Angeles June 02, 1926. They lived in Pleasanton in 1930 but later moved to Kearney. ---------------------------------------------- Mrs. Josephine Unick, 66, wife of Louis Unick of 617 West 22nd was killed outright in an automobile collision on the Pleasanton highway 16 miles north of Kearney about 4:30 p.m. Friday. Mr. Unick was driving toward Kearney and collided with a car driven north by Dr. C. A. Brink of Pleasanton. Neither Mr. Brink or Mr. Unick were injured. The funeral will be conducted by the Rev. Floyd King at the Pleasanton United Brethren church at 2 p.m. Tuesday, with burial in the Pleasant Valley cemetery. Surviving in addition to the husband, Louis, is a daughter, Leona King Downey of California; a sister, Anna Hollister of Sabetha, Kansas; step-children, James and Louis of Kearney, Josie Hadwiger, Ben and Fred Unick of Pleasanton, Elsie Peterson of Kearney, and Rose Ann Dungan of McCook.
