Description	:	Funeral services were held in the Nelson Presbyterian Church at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon for Clyde Moss, 55, long-time Nelson resident who died Friday in a Hastings hospital. He had been in failing health for a number of months but had been hospitalized only a short time. Mr. Moss was the son of George and Nellie Moss and was born at Norton, Kans., March 20, 1904. He was a graduate of Nelson high school with the class of 1923 and attended the University of Nebraska for one year, after which he farmed for a number of years... Read More	Funeral services were held in the Nelson Presbyterian Church at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon for Clyde Moss, 55, long-time Nelson resident who died Friday in a Hastings hospital. He had been in failing health for a number of months but had been hospitalized only a short time. Mr. Moss was the son of George and Nellie Moss and was born at Norton, Kans., March 20, 1904. He was a graduate of Nelson high school with the class of 1923 and attended the University of Nebraska for one year, after which he farmed for a number of years northwest of Nelson. Since 1949 he had operated a feed and seed store in Nelson. He had been a member of the Presbyterian church (sic) since the age of 12. He was married to Dorothy Duncan (sic) on Dec. 26, 1951. Left to mourn his passing are his wife, Dorothy, his brother, W.F. Crannell of San Diego, Calif., his sisters, Mrs. Charles Bagley of Superior and Mrs. J.G. Pearson of Colorado Springs, Colo., and many other relatives and friends. His parents and one brother, Jay, preceded him in death. The Rev. E. Ray Cameron of the Superior Presbyterian Church officiated at the Monday services. Burial was made in the Nelson cemetery (sic). The Nelson Gazette, Thursday, October 15, 1959
