The Nelson Gazette (Nelson, NE), Thursday, December 8, 1921; pg. 1 =========================== Nettie Marcella Morton was born January 30, 1870, near Middleport, Ohio. When still a small child she moved with her parents to Oberlin, Kansas, where she grew to womanhood. February 21, 1887, she was married to Willard Crannell. To this union three children were born, Jay, Willard and Fay, Willard dying in infancy. Mr. Crannell passed away in June, 1893. September 3, 1898, she was united in marriage to George E. Moss of Nelson. To this union three children were born, Virginia, Clyde and Luceil. When a young woman she united with the Presbyterian Church of this place, of which she has been a member until death called her home, December 7, 1921, at the age of 51 years, 10 months and 7 days. She leaves to mourn her death, a husband, two daughters, three sons, three sisters, two brothers, near relatives and a host of friends. She was a kind and loving mother and always considerate of all she came in contact with day by day. Mothers Love To my memory comes a vision that my heart can near forget, of my mother, with her tender care for me, for the face of years forgotten still remains. I see it yet, and her brow reflects the light of Calvary. Tho' my mother has departed, still I feel her spirit near, as she pleads before the Heavenly Father's throne, and her prayers my life shall answer for . I long to meet her there, and to see the Christ who bought me for His own. The funeral was held from the Presbyterian Church Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. o'clock, the pastor, C.
