The cause of his death is given as Bulbar Paralysis of which disease he has suffered for some time. In early boyhood he came with his parents to Indiana. Here he had his home till about 30 years ago when he came to Kansas and first lived at Scottsville later coming to Concordia and almost lived here continuously till he passed away. Here he had his home till about 30 years ago when he came to Kansas and first lived at Scottsville later coming to Concordia and almost lived here continuously till he passed away. He was married to Miss Lucretia Jane Heitsman in Indiana, to them were born five sons, four of whom are living and well known here. After the mother of these boys died and twelve years ago, he was married to Mrs. Hannah Yager and to this union were born two children, a boy and a girl. All these, together with many other relatives and friends mourn his departure. On Dec. 21, 1863 he enlisted in Company F. 125th Regiment, Indiana volunteers. He served till the close of the war and was honorably discharged on Dec. 29, 1865. Mr. Yoder was converted in early life and joined the Methodist Episcopal church. He has gone "where all must go some day." The funeral service was held at the Methodist church yesterday afternoon, conducted by Rev. G. W. Martin.
