She and several,friends formed.the Hillsview Ladies' Club .which over the'years built and maintained the Summerview Hall where many, good times will.be remembered by local residents.' Joy belonged; for many years, to: the Captain McPhal Chapter of the I.O.D.E.. untll-they disbanded and they/Joined the Lethbrldge Order until the traveing become too difficult.,' Frail health prevented Joy from much physical activity, but: her days were occupied by quilting,,.Writting letters and cheering famly and friends as well as baking. Joy was always very devoted to her family. She.was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Ethel Trodden In: 1957; and a brother, Tommy in 1959. Joy survived by her loving husband; Hugh of 53 years; her children: Conway (Phyllis) Cameron of Lethbrldge. Bonnie (Gordon) Bell of Edmonton and Jim (Marie) Cameron of Nobelford; eight grandchildren: Robyn, Susan and Kelly Cameron, John and Colleen Bell, Scott, Michael and Jenny Cameron. Joy also survived by two brothers: Jim (Beryl) Trodden and Eldon (Gertie) Trodden; and two sisters: Faye Trodden all of Plncher Creek and Jeanlne (Clancy) McKay of Okotoks; as well as numerous nieces and nephews Funeral Mass will be' celebrated In St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, Pincher Creek, Alberta on Saturday, December 2, 1995 at IftOO A.M. with.Father Bob Diellssen Celebrant. lnterment to follow In Fairview Cemetery.
