Description	:	JOYCE CHRISTENSEN (1934-2020) Joyce E. (Kloke) Christensen was born November 8, 1934 at Osmond, Nebraska to Ted and Myrtle (Krohn) Kloke. She was baptized at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Osmond, Nebraska and confirmed at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Pierce, Nebraska. Joyce graduated from Pierce High School in 1952. Joyce's employment included Northwestern Bell Telephone for 5 years after graduation, General Electric plant in Illinois for 1 year and various other employment. (Kloke) Christensen was born November 8, 1934 at Osmond, Nebraska to Ted and Myrtle (Krohn) Kloke. She was baptized at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Osmond, Nebraska and confirmed at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Pierce, Nebraska. Joyce graduated from Pierce High School in 1952. Joyce's employment included Northwestern Bell Telephone for 5 years after graduation, General Electric plant in Illinois for 1 year and various other employment. She retired in 1999 after 20 years of employment at Magdanz Hardware Store in Pierce, Nebraska. She was also a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and Altar Society, the American Legion Auxiliary and Pierce Community Golf Course. She was active in community organizations through the years including helping to organize the first Junior Fire Patrol which she taught for nine years. She was a Cub Scout Den Leader for nine years and received an award from the Diamond Dick District for her dedication and contributions for the scouting program. She was the ticket chairperson for the Alumni Association for 8 years and was active in Community plays and choirs. She shared her acting and singing talents at various functions throughout the years. Joyce was preceded in death by her son Jeffrey Fink, parents Theodore and Myrtle Kloke and one brother Theodore Kloke. She is survived by her three sons, Jay/Erika Fink, Jon Fink and Jan/Jamie Fink, eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, one sister Jacqueline Oetker, one brother Virgil Kloke and nieces and nephews. There will be a public visitation at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Pierce on Thursday, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A private family Mass Of Christian burial will follow on Friday with interment at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Norfolk. Arrangements were made with Hasemann Funeral Home of Wayne. Bryan Fink, Cody Fink, Josh Fink, Troy Kloke, Jeff Magdanz and Nick Muir will serve as pallbearers.
