On the second day of April, 1907, Juanita was born and for little more than two years the kind Father in Heaven left the darling in the home to brighten the lives of a happy family and then called her to his Courts above that Heaven might be brighter. The little white casket was covered with beautiful flowers, fitting emblems of immortality, their leaves wither and fall to the earth, the petals fade away and all return to the dust of the earth, but their perfume is caught by the gentle breeze and wafted on forever. So our loved ones fall about us "like leaves in winter weather." "The body returns to the earth as it was and the soul to the God who gave it" yet the memory of little Juanita will live forever in our hearts. The home circle is broken, but it is only for a time, for God has made it possible for us to meet again . Little Juanita was a bright, intelligent child and of a sweet, loving disposition and will be greatly missed by the broken hearted father, and mother and her two brothers and two sisters remaining in the home and the grandparents, uncles and aunts. She was a member of the Cradle Roll Department of the Methodist Sunday School and with a very sad heart Mrs. Craven will place her name at the head of the list of the Cradle Roll babies who have gone to be with Jesus. The funeral was held at the home Sunday at 11 o'clock conducted by Rev. J. H. Craven and the little form laid to rest in the Maple Grove cemetery.
