Mrs. Usovsky was born April 1, 1961, the sixth daughter of Dale Wesley and Marjorie Ann Pohren Countryman. She married Jerry Usovsky May 16, 1987, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Fairfield. She was a 1979 graduate of Van Buren Community High School. After graduation, she worked for Fairfield Line Inc.; Torino's Pizza and Steak House, and Best Western Fairifeld Inn. Most recently, she was employed by the Fairfield Ledger. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Fairfield. Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Marlena; three sisters, Carol Taylor of Keosauqua, Beverly Gartner of Iowa City and Wanda Countryman of La Crosse, Wis.; and six nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death her her maternal and paternal grandparents and an infant sister, Shirley Jean. Two sisters, Marlene Countryman and Dorothy Cunningham, and one daughter Ashley Nicole Usovsky also died Sept. 6.
