Read More	The Eugene Register-Guard Lane County, Oregon August 10, 2014 Juanita Ruth Nencini 1923 – 2014 A Summer Celebration of life to honor Juanita Ruth Nencini, 91 of Florence, OR who passed away peacefully in her sleep of natural causes on April 2, 2014. she was born in enterprise, OR February 14, 1923. She moved with her parents to Rochester, WA in the early 1930's. As an adolescent during the depression she spent her summers picking strawberries & raspberries, then to picking hops and back to school, graduating from Rochester High School in 1941. She married her high school sweetheart Leo Nencini on February 21, 1942. While her husband was attending basic training and overseas during WWII, she excelled at Bremerton Shipyard in Washington doing various manufacturing positions up to her final job as timekeeper to the crews that made the templates for the Liberty Ships. After the war, she moved with her husband and daughter to Oakridge, OR where she lived for over 35 years. During this time she was a bookkeeper at the Rexall drug store then the Desoto/Plymouth dealership and Ford dealership then became a secretary for the Oakridge High School where she retired. Retirement in the early 1980's meant relocating to their cabin they built in the early 1960's on the Oregon Coast near Florence. Her many interests included beach combing, water skiing, traveling in their motor home with destinations to Alaska and all over the United States to sight see and spent time with family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Leo; daughter Donna Pedersen (Fred) of Redding, CA; grandson Todd Pedersen (Sherri) of Redding, CA; granddaughters: Renee Stilley (Mark) of Mount Shasta, CA; Lyndsey Warmuth (Chase) of Kona, HI; Codey Pedersen of Cupecoy, Dutch Lowlands, Satin Maarten; great great grandson Logan Hunter of Mount Shasta, CA. Please join Juanita's family for a summer celebration of her life in Florence Saturday, August 32 from 1 pm til 4 pm at The Ocean Dunes Golf Links in the Rhody Room. In lieu of flowers please sent contributions in of Juanita to Ladies Auxiliary VFW number 3232∼ Obituary contributed by Richard Carle.
