Memorial Services have been set for 10:30am Friday, May 27, 2022 at Rude's Funeral Home, Brookings, SD. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the Memorial Services. (Smidt) Schutjer. Judy received her education in the Brookings Schools and was a graduate of Brookings High School in 1953. In 1954, she moved to Rapid City, SD and was employed in the financial industry for 25 years. In 1979, she returned to Brookings, SD and was employed at SDSU in the Human Development Consumer Family Sciences until her retirement in 2004. She enjoyed spending time outdoors, animals and especially spending time with family and friends. Judy is survived by her brother, Gary Schutjer of Brookings, SD; numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Allen, her mother, Georgia, her sister, Beverly Aho and brother-in-law, Eldon Aho. - Rudes Funeral Home
