Read More	Julia Ann Hottle, one of a family of eight children of Eil and Leah Hottle, of Woodstock, Virginia, was born on January ninth, 1856. The family moved to Corydon, Indiana, in 1862. Two of her brothers left Indiana in 1885 to make their home in the vicinity of Elmwood, Nebraska, and she went with them to keep house. Having moved to Fairmont, Nebraska, in 1892, Miss Hottle was was united in marriage there with John Henry Keller, of Corydon, Indiana, on the thirteenth of October, 1898, and the couple lived on the farm northwest of Fairmont until some nine years ago, when they took up the residence in town, which has continued to be their home. Mrs. Keller united with the Fairmont Methodist Church on June 26th, 1892, under the pastorate of the Rev. I. L. Lowe. A woman of deep religious conviction and faith, she formerly was able to enjoy that activity in church affairs that was denied her during the past five years of ill health. Some six weeks ago a fall brought a severe shock to her already weakened body, and she entered into blessed rest on Thursday night, June 6th, 1935. Very patient in those years of indifferent health, and gracious in demeanor towards all who met her, Mrs. Keller had a host of good friends and neighbors, who felt privileged in calling upon her at her home. Besides her husband, she is survived by a sister and two brothers: Mrs. Virginia Bogenrief of Kearney, Nebraska; William M. Hottle of Elmwood, Nebraska; and David A. Hottle, of Miamisburg, Ohio. It is interesting to note that an authentically published family history, which shows the intermarrying of the Keller and Hottle lineage, traces the Hottle ancestry back to John Hottle, who came from Switzerland to America in 1732, some of whose forebears emigrated from Holland, and some from the Palatinate provinces of the Rhine; and all of them tempered with that love of religious freedom that has caused European countries, even in our modern times, to lose some of the very best among their good citizens. Settling in the Shenandoah Valley, Virginia, and some of them in Pennsylvania, the descendants of the original John Hottle were loyal colonial soldiers in the Revolutionary War, and subsequently veterans in the War of Eighteen-twelve; the Civil War (both in the federal and the Confederate sides), and the World War. Pardonable pride has been taken by Mr. and Mrs. Keller in this detailed history of their family connections, which were published by the Shenandoah Publishing House, Strasburg, Virginia, in 1930, written by the Rev. W.D. Huddle, and completed after his death by his gifted wife, Mrs. Lulu May Huddle; the name Huddle or Hottle undergoing a number of variations in the spelling. After a brief prayer service at the home, funeral services were held in Fairmont Methodist church on Sunday afternoon, June 9, 1935, conducted by the pastor, Rev. H. Henry Stitt, who was assisted by the Rev. A.J. Martin and Rev. O.H. Albertson, and interment was made in the Fairmont cemetery. The hymns "The Home of the Soul," "One Sweetly Solemn Thought," and "It is Well," were sung by Mrs. Mable Quinlan, Mrs. Helen Little, Oliver Moul, and W.E. Black. Pallbearers were Charles Cox, W.
