Bryson, 56, which occurred at the St. Francis hospital at 3 a.m. Monday. Surgical shock following an operation, to which she submitted Saturday morning, was the cause of death. She had been in poor health the past four or six months. Julia E. Zuver, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George W. Zuver, was born in Gage county, Nebraska, on March 8, 1872. She grew to womanhood at her birthplace, and on March 12, 1890, was united in marriage with Silas Y. Bryson, in Gage county, In 1900 they came to Hall county, locating on a farm five miles northwest of this city on which she resided until about two years ago, when she moved to this city. In her infancy, she was baptized in the Methodist Episcopal church, ever remaining a faithful and devoted member. Her sudden passing came as a severe shock to her children, but her life will be to them a cherished memory and a guide through the coming years. Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. A. W. Larson, Mrs. Albert Bryant, Mrs. Jack Fagan, Mrs. George Todsen, all residing in or near Grand Island; Mrs. Arthur Buchfinck, of Mullin, Neb.; three sons, James M. Bryson, Owen Bryson, and Ralph Bryson, also living in this community; as also her mother, Mrs. G. W. Zuver, two sisters, two brothers, and thirteen grandchildren. Mr. Bryson preceded her in death on September 13, 1921, and two daughters died in infancy. Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday from Trinity Methodist church, Rev. P. M. Hillman officiating. At 9:50 a.m., the body will be taken on train No. 42 to Gage county for burial accompanied by the relatives. Friends of the family may view the body at the home, 415 West Eighth street, any time during Tuesday afternoon or evening.∼Wife of Silas Young Bryson
