Read More	OBITUARY Following a lingering illness caused by heart weakness and cancer. Mrs. August Jammerthal passed away at her home in Akron, Iowa, Thursday, July 27,1929, at the age of 64 years, 2 months, and 23 days. Julia Huebner was born in Germany and came to this country with her brother when eighteen years of age. On August 30,1884, she was united in marriage with August Jammerthal and they located they located on a farmin Plymouth county, Iowa, southeast of Akron, where they continued to reside until eleven years ago,when they moved to Akron and have made their home here since. Five children came to gladden the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jammerthal, all of whom survive except one son, Herman, who died in infancy. The surviving members of the are: August Jammerthal, the husband; two daughters and two sons, Mrs. Lizzie Kaelke, Will Jammerthal, Mrs. Sarah Chambers and Harold Jammerthal, all of Akron vicinity; also one brother, Fred Huebner, of North Platte, Neb.; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and one great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and one great-grandchild. All have the sympathy of the community in their bereavement. Before coming to America, Mrs. Jammerthal was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran church, and during her residence here she had attended the Methodist church. She will be missed by her relatives and numerous friends, since she was of a most kindly disposition and very considerate of her family and friends. "There is a home for weary souls, By sin and sorrow driven. When tossed on life's tempestuous shoals, Where storms arise and ocean rolls, And all is drear—tis heaven. "There faith lifts up the teariess eye To brighter prospects given, And views the tempest passing by, The evening shadows quickly fly, And all serene—in heaven. "There fragrant flowers immortal bloom And joys supreme are given; There rays divine disperse the gloom, Beyond the confines of the tomb Appears the dawn—of heaven." Funeral services were conducted in the Methodist church Sunday afternoon by the pastor, Wilson Gov. and the body laid to rest in Riverside cemetery. The large number of friends and relatives attending completely filled the church. Relatives coming from a distance were: Fred Huebner and Miss Emma Huebner, of North Platte, Neb.; Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Sommermyer and grandchildren, of Kingsley, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. Roy Peterson and Miss Sophie Peterson, of Arthur, Iowa; Mrs. Frank Kent, of Omaha, Neb.; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Sommermyer and daughter, Windfred, Mrs. Mary Shafer and Mr.and Mrs. Wm.
