Julia Heller, daughter of Casper and Dora Heller, was born at Hooper May 16, 1895 and passed away at the Community Hospital in Blair on Dec. 7, 1958 at the age of 63 years, 6 months and 21 days. Read More	The Hooper Sentinel December 11, 1958 Mrs. G. C. Reid of Herman is Taken By Death Mrs. G. C., Reid of Herman, former Hooperite, passed away Sunday after an illness of about a year. Julia Heller, daughter of Casper and Dora Heller, was born at Hooper May 16, 1895 and passed away at the Community Hospital in Blair on Dec. 7, 1958 at the age of 63 years, 6 months and 21 days. She received her grade and high school training at Hooper, and after high school graduation attended Nurses Training in Omaha, graduating in 1918. Julia followed her chosen profession in Hooper, and worked for many years in the office of the late Dr. C. D. Heine and Dr. W. H. Heine, as well as in various other places. On January 17, 1927, she was united in marriage to Gerald C. Reid of Herman at Logan, Iowa. With the exception of a few year they spent their married life in and around Herman and Hooper. Julia was baptized in the Lutheran faith, was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church of Hooper, transferring her membership to Kountz Memorial Lutheran Church in Omaha, were she and her husband are now members. She was also a member of the Nebr. Nurses Association. She is survived by her husband; a brother, Ben Heller of Fremont; four sisters, Miss Elsie Heller of Lincoln, Mrs. Luella Hauser of Omaha, Mrs. Frances Eagan of Scottsbluff, and Mrs. Carrie Dau of Hooper; several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Mrs. Dora Daubert and Mrs. Lenora Heller of Hooper. The funeral service was held in Hooper.
