Description	:	OBITUARY: Julia Sophie Oestmann, daughter of August F. and Mary Grube Oestmann, was born on a farm near Johnson, Nebraska, August 29, 19090. She was one of seven children. She was baptized at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Johnson by Pastor D. Didlaukies on September 12, 1909 and was confirmed in the Lutheran Faith at that same church by Pastor William Harder o n Aubust 26, 1923. Read More	OBITUARY: Julia Sophie Oestmann, daughter of August F. and Mary Grube Oestmann, was born on a farm near Johnson, Nebraska, August 29, 19090. She was one of seven children. She was baptized at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Johnson by Pastor D. Didlaukies on September 12, 1909 and was confirmed in the Lutheran Faith at that same church by Pastor William Harder o n Aubust 26, 1923. Julia remained a member of this church all of hr lif and was a member of the LCW. She attended Dewe and Washington rural schools and went on to graduate from Johnson High School in the class of 1927. She was married to Fred J. Dunechacke on February 26, 1938. Six children wer born to this marriag; one son dying in infancy. They were to live all of their married life on the sam farm a mile east and two and a half miles south of Johnson, Ne. Her husband Fred, died July 15, 1973. Julia had been in failing health since April of this year. She entered the Johnson County Hospital in Tecumseh on Wednesday, November 13. It waws there she passed away eight days later on Thursday, November 21, 1974, having reached the age of 65 years, 2 months and 23 days. In addition to her husband and infant son. She was preceded in death hy her father and two brothers. She is survived by her five children; David of Auburn, Jean of Lincoln, Paul of Holdrege, Lee of Rising City and Mary Ann of Lincoln. Also by four granchildren, Jeffery, Michae, Amy and Ann Dunekacke; her mother, Mrs. Mary Oestmann; two brothers, Ervin and Edward A. Oestmann and two sisters, Mrs. Walter (Esther) Knippelmeier, and Mrs. Gerald L. (Alice) Hahn, all of Johnson. other relatives. and many many friends. Pallbearers were James and Steve Hahn, Ralph and Duey Oestmann, Alfred Dunekacke and brad Knippelmeier. Assisting with flowers were Mrs. Dan Gerdes, Mrs. Larry Norvell and Mrs. Wayne Moerer.
