She was the daughter of John and Georgia (Hawkins) Daines. On December 25, 1951 at the Greenmound Church of God, rural Trenton, June married Kenneth Faye Carver. June worked side by side with Kenneth as a proofreader for the Salem News, the newspaper they operated. For a short time, she worked at the Sylvania Plant in Mt. Pleasant. Mrs. Carver, the former June Ilene Daines, was born October 3, 1935 in Keokuk, IA. She was the daughter of John and Georgia (Hawkins) Daines. On December 25, 1951 at the Greenmound Church of God, rural Trenton, June married Kenneth Faye Carver. June enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was an avid reader, enjoyed sewing, quilting and crocheting. Her parents, husband, 2 daughters – Patti June Carver and Brenda Sue Carver and sisters Lucy Parker-Callison, Ruby Morgan, Marguerite Lyon and Jackie Printy precede June in death.
