She was born on Aug. 29, 1929, the daughter of John and Georgia Hawkins Daines. She married Robert L. Morgan on March 20, 1946, in Kahoka, Mo. He preceded her in death in 1986. Mrs. Morgan was a homemaker. She also had worked for Kmart. She was a member of the Tri-State Quilters Guild for many years. Read More	Aug. 29, 1929 -- July 22, 2011 Ruby Marie Morgan, 81, of Keokuk died Friday, July 22, 2011, peacefully at her home. She was born on Aug. 29, 1929, the daughter of John and Georgia Hawkins Daines. She married Robert L. Morgan on March 20, 1946, in Kahoka, Mo. He preceded her in death in 1986. Mrs. Morgan was a homemaker. She also had worked for Kmart. She was a member of the Tri-State Quilters Guild for many years. Survivors include: three sons, Jerry Morgan of Keokuk, Robert Morgan and his wife, Lynn, of Keokuk and Larry Morgan and his wife, Bobbi, of St. Charles, Mo.; a daughter, Sandra Flory and her husband, Russell, of Hindsville, Ark.; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; five sisters; a brother; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters. Services were scheduled this morning at DeJong-Greaves Celebration of Life Center, 917 Blondeau St., Keokuk, with funeral celebrant Theresa DeJong officiating. Burial was in Keokuk National Cemetery.
