Description	:	ALBANY -- Junior K. Dalton, 78, of State Route 681, Albany, died Sunday, March 2, 1997, at his residence after an extended illness. Born Nov. 25, 1918 in Nelsonville, he was the son of the late King William and Rebecca Mae Bumgardner Dalton. He was a retired coal miner and carpenter and was a Navy veteran of World War II, where he served in the South Pacific. He is survived by his wife, Bernice Marie Lewis Dalton; a daughter, Martha Lewis Dalton of Albany; a son, James Keith Dalton of Albany; two granddaughters, Lynette Lee and Jennifer McCloud; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Paul... Read More	ALBANY -- Junior K. Dalton, 78, of State Route 681, Albany, died Sunday, March 2, 1997, at his residence after an extended illness. Born Nov. 25, 1918 in Nelsonville, he was the son of the late King William and Rebecca Mae Bumgardner Dalton. He was a retired coal miner and carpenter and was a Navy veteran of World War II, where he served in the South Pacific. He is survived by his wife, Bernice Marie Lewis Dalton; a daughter, Martha Lewis Dalton of Albany; a son, James Keith Dalton of Albany; two granddaughters, Lynette Lee and Jennifer McCloud; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Paul Thomas Dalton of Nelsonville and a sister, Inas Reeder of Thornville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Janet; a sister, Norma Jean Dalton and a brother, Donald R. Dalton. Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Bigony-Jordan Funeral Home, Albany, with the Revs. Howard Mayne and Jim Stewart officiating. Burial will be in Connett Cemetery in Nelsonville. Military graveside services will be conducted by the Nelsonville V.F.W. Friends may call Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
