Frank King. Throughout the house, lights were shaded in gold and a wedding cake with the anniversary dates 1876-1926 was placed on the lace-covered dining room table. Mrs. Pryor R. Millner Sr., age 69, one of Leaksville's most prominent women and the mother of three Martinsville citizens, died Sunday afternoon at her home at Leaksville, N.C. following a long period of ill health. Funeral services were held from the Leaksville Methodist Church Tuesday afternoon, in charge of her pastor. Interment took place in the Lawson Cemetery. Surviving are the husband and the following children: Mrs. J. E. Hackley, Purcellville, Va.; P. R. Millner Jr., Percy M. and Walker M. Millner, all of Martinsville; Clarence Millner, Madison, N.C.; Miss Annie Millner and Mrs. J. Frank King of Leaksville, N.C. Two sisters, Mrs. J. R. Williams and Mrs. T. J. Smith of Norfolk, also survive. The deceased was born at Leaksville, N.C. in 1863, and was the daughter of the late Pryor R. Millner Sr. [sic] of Cascade, Va. In early life she joined the Methodist church and was active in all its organizations. She was also a member of the D. A. R. Quite a number of people from Martinsville attended the final rites at Leaksville Tuesday afternoon.
