In what was described as "the most brilliant social affair of the season," the golden wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Pryor Millner was celebrated in Leaksville at "Blossom Terrace," the beautiful new home of Mr. and Mrs. J. Frank King. Throughout the house, lights were shaded in gold and a wedding cake with the anniversary dates 1876-1926 was placed on the lace-covered dining room table. Rooms throughout the house were decorated with smilax, ivy and yellow chrysanthemums. Mr. Xirchais and Miss Grotenfendt furnished music throughout, and three of Mrs. Millner's girlhood friends, Mrs. J.H. Lane, Mrs. J.M. Price and Mrs. T.G. Taylor, sang "When You And I Were Young Maggie" and "Long, Long Ago." A quartette of her friends sang "Silver Threads Among the Gold."
