Description	:	SIDNEY DAILY NEWS, SIDNEY, OHIO Monday, January 26, 1931 WELL KNOWN WOMAN TAKEN BY DEATH Mrs. Katherine Zweibel, aged 66 years, died Saturday morning, January 24, at her home at Wapakoneta. Death came unexpectedly at 3 o’clock. Mrs. Zweibel had been in declining health for several years, following a stroke of paralysis. Katherine Sophie Zwiebel was born in Shelby county, April 24, 1854, the daughter of Michael and Fredericka Seaman Kies. Death came unexpectedly at 3 o’clock. Mrs. Zweibel had been in declining health for several years, following a stroke of paralysis. Katherine Sophie Zwiebel was born in Shelby county, April 24, 1854, the daughter of Michael and Fredericka Seaman Kies. She moved from Shelby county to Auglaize county 44 years ago and resided on farm in Clay township where she made her home until 19 years age when she moved to Wapakoneta. Her husband, to whom she was married on June 23, 1882, had been killed in 1908 by a dynamite explosion northeast of Wapakoneta. Mr. and Mrs. Zwiebel were the parents of nine children, three of whom with the father preceded her in death. Those remaining to mourn her passing are: Mrs. Michael Brunn, Henry Zwiebel , George Zwiebel and Lawrence Zwiebel of Wapakoneta, Fred Zwiebel of near Lima and Mrs. Forest Hunt of Forest. In addition to these there is one brother, George Kies and 20 grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren. Funeral service held Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Clay township with the Rev. George Busdecker officiating.
