She was 85. Funeral rites will be conducted by Rev. Laurin Buzynski, 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Anthony Catholic Church with burial at St. Bonaventure Cemetery. She came to Columbus at the age of five, attended St. Bonaventure Grade School and later was a member of St. Anthony Church and St. Theresa Sodality. On Nov. 20, 1911 she married Frank Briggs who died in 1922. Her second marriage was to John Podlo on Oct. 23, 1929. He died in 1945. She is survived by one son, Henry F. Briggs of Columbus; two granddaughters, Mrs. Jimmy (Ellen) Stewart of Germany and Dorothy Briggs of Grand Island; one great-grandson, Michael Stewart; two sisters, Stacia Stachura of Columbus; Mrs. Frank Zulkoski of Elyria; nieces and nephews. Besides her husbands, she was preceded in death by a son, Frank Briggs; daughter, Helen Jazwieck; and two brothers.
