Description	:	Katherine Wilhelmine Thersia Steuer Fangmeier, daughter of Mathias Steuer and Anna Schlichtemeier Steuer, was born in Lancaster County near Kramer on March 17, 1897. She was baptized by the Rev G.A. Lohr at St. John's Lutheran Church of Kramer on April 25, 1897. Katherine was married to Henry W. Fangmeier at St. John's Lutheran Church on Oct 14, 1915. They had three sons. Until she moved to Colorado, she had been a lifelong member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Kramer. Read More	Katherine Wilhelmine Thersia Steuer Fangmeier, daughter of Mathias Steuer and Anna Schlichtemeier Steuer, was born in Lancaster County near Kramer on March 17, 1897. She was baptized by the Rev G.A. Lohr at St. John's Lutheran Church of Kramer on April 25, 1897. Katherine was married to Henry W. Fangmeier at St. John's Lutheran Church on Oct 14, 1915. They had three sons. Until she moved to Colorado, she had been a lifelong member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Kramer. She was a charter member of the Ladies Aid and served as the president of that organization. She died Oct 5 at the Camellia Care Center in Aurora, Colorado, at the age of 85. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her sister, Mrs. Wm. (Caroline) Portsche. She is survived by her sons, Elmer and Earl of Denver; Mervin of Aurora, Colorado; one brother, Frank Steuer of Crete; two sisters, Mrs. Cora Henning of Hallam and Mrs. Evelyn Grasz of Kramer; and four grandchildren. A memorial service was held for Katherine at Hope Lutheran Church of Aurora, Colorado. Interment was at the cemetery of St. John's Lutheran Church. Memorials go to St. John's.
