Description	:	Cora Anna Steuer Henning was born at home near Kramer, Nebraska on June 5, 1905 to her parents, Mathias and Anna Schlichtemeier Steuer. She was baptized at St. John Lutheran Church on July 23, 1905 by Pastor G.A. Lohr. She was confirmed at St. John Lutheran Church on April 13, 1919 by Pastor F. Gerike. Read More	Cora Anna Steuer Henning was born at home near Kramer, Nebraska on June 5, 1905 to her parents, Mathias and Anna Schlichtemeier Steuer. She was baptized at St. John Lutheran Church on July 23, 1905 by Pastor G.A. Lohr. She was confirmed at St. John Lutheran Church on April 13, 1919 by Pastor F. Gerike. She attended St. John Lutheran Parochial School through eighth grade where she went to school with her future husband. On February 24, 1929 she married Benjamin Henning who died on January 30, 1995. This marriage was blessed by God with four children - Marvin, Donley, Carol, and Roger. Cora lived in the Crete area all of her life. Corn was a homemaker who took great pride in the call God gave to her to be a wife and mother. She was also a member of St. John's Ladies' Aid. Cora was preceded in death by her parents Mathias and Anna Steuer, by her husband Benjamin Henning, by her brother Frank Steuer; her sisters Evelyn Grasz, Katherine Fangmeier, and Caroline Portsche; and by her daughter-in-law Nancy Henning. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Marvin and Donna Henning, Donley and Judy Henning, and Roger and Mary Jo Henning; and by her daughter and son-in-law Carol and Art Brinkmeyer; by her 16 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and four step great grandchildren; and by her sister-in-law Evelyn Henning. Cora lived on this earth for 97 years, 1 month, and 17 days. Now through faith in Christ Jesus, she lives for all eternity with God in heaven.
