Description	:	Kathryn June (Feizien) Stokes, 83, of Stanford, Mont., formerly of Sterling, died Wednesday, March 21, 2001 of natural causes. Services were held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Stanford. Burial was at the Stanford Cemetery. Mrs Stokes was born June 27, 1917, in Kelly, Cob, and graduated from Logan County High School in Sterling in 1934. She earned her degree in 935 from the School of Cosmetology in Denver, and was a beautician for 65 years, beginning in Holyoke from 1935 until 1946. Burial was at the Stanford Cemetery. Mrs Stokes was born June 27, 1917, in Kelly, Cob, and graduated from Logan County High School in Sterling in 1934. She earned her degree in 935 from the School of Cosmetology in Denver, and was a beautician for 65 years, beginning in Holyoke from 1935 until 1946. On Feb. 10, 1946 she married Cecil Stokes in Sterling. She operated a salon in Sundance, Wyo. In 1953 the couple moved to Stanford and opened Stokes Hardware & Beauty Shop. She was a member of Stanford Women's Club, Lutheran Women, and a founding member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Stanford. She enjoyed knitting, gardening, raising flowers, sewing, baking and visiting with friends.Mrs. Stokes is survived by two sons, Dennis Stokes of Stanford and Keith Stokes of Great Falls, Mont.; two sisters, Evelyn Johns of Denver and Velda Bozarth of Irvine, Calif.; two brothers, Marvin Felzien and Ira Felzien, both of Sterling; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Stokes in 1965; and a brother, Garrett Felzien. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church in Stanford in care of the Stokes family.
