Description	:	Kathleen "Kitty" Mary Wiederholt was born on September 5, 1918, in Lisbon, North Dakota to Joseph John and Caroline Roach Wiederholt. She was christened on September 8th at St. Aloysius Catholic Church. On September 5, 1941, on her 23rd birthday, she married Eugene Maynard Greuel at St. Aloysius Catholic Church Rectory in Lisbon, North Dakota. Kathleen and Eugene moved to Richmond, California in 1942 where Gene obtained work in the shipyards prior to going into the army. Read More	Kathleen "Kitty" Mary Wiederholt was born on September 5, 1918, in Lisbon, North Dakota to Joseph John and Caroline Roach Wiederholt. She was christened on September 8th at St. Aloysius Catholic Church. On September 5, 1941, on her 23rd birthday, she married Eugene Maynard Greuel at St. Aloysius Catholic Church Rectory in Lisbon, North Dakota. Kathleen and Eugene moved to Richmond, California in 1942 where Gene obtained work in the shipyards prior to going into the army. On 1952 they sold their home in San Pablo, California and moved to Anderson, California where Eugene worked for Ralph L. Smith Lumber Company and Kimberly-Clark Corp. Kathleen was a homemaker and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church for 46 years. She volunteered in the rummage house and various fundraisers to help support Sacred Heart Catholic School. Kathleen lived in the home that Eugene built until 1997 when she went into a nursing home because of ill health. She passed away on Friday, October 23, 1998. Preceded her in death was her husband of 50 years;her parents; her sister Irene Wiederholt Diggins of San Jose, California; three brothers Bernard Wiederholt of Sherman Oaks, Edward Wiederholt of Richmond, and Donald Wiederholt of San Jose, California. Survivors include her son and two grandsons of Cottonwood, California; brother Willard Wiederholt of San Jose; and many nieces and nephews. Recitation of Rosary will be held on Tuesday, October 27 at 7:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Anderson. Officiating is Reverand Father Michael Kiernan. She is being buried next to her husband, Eugene Greuel, at Anderson District Cemetery in Anderson, California.
