Father Masterson officiating. After the wedding the happy couple retired to the home of Mr and Mrs. Stewart, eighth and Cherry, where a bountiful repast was spread and participated in by a few select friends of the couple. After the supper the couple left on the 7:35 train for the east to enjoy their honeymoon at Niagara Falls and on their return will be at home to their friends in their newly acquired residence at 11th and W. Cherry. The groom was a retired farmer of Wessington Springs, S. Dakota, who has recently moved to Cherokee and brings here the best wishes of his many friends in S. Dakota. The bride is well and most favorable known in Cherokee where she has resided for years and has many relatives and a host of friends who extend felicitations and wish the couple a happy and prosperous journey through life. Mrs. Galbraith is survived by her husband, three sisters, Mrs. Peter Werdell; Mrs. Margaret Carter and Mrs. Nell Donovan, Cherokee; two brothers, John and Patrick Christopher of Shullsburg, Wisc; three step-daughters, Bell and Bessie of Sioux City, and Mrs. Hugh Doherty, Kenosha, Wisc, and one step-son, Clarence Galbraith, Sioux City, also survive. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 o'clock Monday morning at Immaculate Conception church with Rev. T.M. Parle in charge. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary cemetery. Rosary will be recited at 8:30 o'clock Saturday and Sunday nights at the Schmidt Funeral home where the body will remain until time for services.
