Description	:	Mrs. Keitha Mern Bott of Leslieville passed away in the Rocky Mountain House General Hospital August 30, 1980 at the age of 80 years after a lengthy illness. She was born in Montour, Iowa, Feb. 11, 1900 and came to Canada in 1913 to Condor district. She received her education at the Shady Lane school. In 1915 she was married to Fred Bott and farmed in the Withrow district until 1956 when Mr. Bott passed away. She then moved to Leslieville where she resided until her passing. Read More	Mrs. Keitha Mern Bott of Leslieville passed away in the Rocky Mountain House General Hospital August 30, 1980 at the age of 80 years after a lengthy illness. She was born in Montour, Iowa, Feb. 11, 1900 and came to Canada in 1913 to Condor district. She received her education at the Shady Lane school. In 1915 she was married to Fred Bott and farmed in the Withrow district until 1956 when Mr. Bott passed away. She then moved to Leslieville where she resided until her passing. Mrs. Bott was a member of the Withrow Gospel Mission of which her husband Fred was one of the original founders, also a member of the Leslieville WI and Leslieville Historical Society. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Freda Gibson, Mrs. Myrtle Finkbiener, and Mrs. Donna Pattison all of Leslieville, seven sons, Charlie, Jim, Eddie and Max of the Withrow district, Dave of Lacombe, Ralph and Art both of Rocky Mountain House; two sisters, Mrs. Gladis Rasmussen and Mrs. Nellie Rasmussen both of Westlock; two brothers, Leland Tweed of Eckville, Elmer (Bud) Jayes of Red Deer, 38 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son Lyle in 1919 and a daughter Dorothey in 1927. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 3 at 11 a.m. from the Withrow Gospel Mission with Rev. Arvid Anderson and Pastor Mark Obefg officiating. Interment will follow in the Leslieville cemetery. If friends desire memorial tributes may be sent to the Withrow Gospel Mission memorial fund or the Canadian Cancer Society, 507 Professional Bldg., Red Deer.
