He was born Nov. 17, 1951, in Forsyth County to Margaret "Polly" Short Fagg and the late Clarence Poe Fagg Sr. Kenny was a member of Brown Mountain Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon and taught the high-school Sunday-school class. Read More	PILOT MOUNTAIN, NC ~ Mr. Kenneth Duane Fagg, 53, of Pilot Mountain, died Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2005, at Northern Hospital of Surry County. He was born Nov. 17, 1951, in Forsyth County to Margaret "Polly" Short Fagg and the late Clarence Poe Fagg Sr. Kenny was a member of Brown Mountain Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon and taught the high-school Sunday-school class. He was Ryan's beloved Pa-Pa. Kenny was retired from Westinghouse in Winston-Salem in 1998 and was the owner of Kenny Fagg Plumbing in Pilot Mountain. He was also a former member of the Pilot Knob Volunteer Fire Department and the Pilot Mountain Rescue Squad. Survivors include his wife, Sylvia Marshall Fagg of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie Presnell and husband Kevin of Pinnacle; son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and wife Amanda Fagg of Pilot Mountain; grandson, Ryan Nicholas Presnell; mother, Polly Fagg of Mount Airy; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Pete and Brenda Fagg of Mount Airy and Bobby and Rhonda Fagg of Pilot Mountain. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 7, at Brown Mountain Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Julius Bradshaw, the Rev. Raymond Needham and the Rev. Fred Chilton, with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Fagg will be placed in the church one hour before the service. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 this evening, Jan. 6, at Howell Funeral Home of Pilot Mountain. Flowers will be accepted, or donations may be made to Brown Mountain Baptist Church, c/o Gail Durham, 1535 Pilot-Westfield Road, Pilot Mountain, NC 27041.
