Description	:	ST. JOHN - Kenneth "Keno" Maxon, 64, died May 1, 2006, in his home, St. John. He was born Dec. 16, 1941, in Scottsbluff, Neb., the son of Ben E. and Ardyce Albers Maxon. A St. John resident since 1989, formerly a 25-year Junction City resident, he was a self-employed businessman. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving from 1961 to 1967 in the Berlin crisis. On Dec. 23, 1989, he married Patsy L. Luthi Maxon in Chapman. She survives. Other survivors include: a son, Rick Maxon and wife, Myriam, Victorville, Calif.; three daughters, Rhonda Maxon, Junction City, Amy Ford and husband, Jerry, Macksville, and Tina Harman, St. John; his father, St. John; and four grandchildren, Trey, Thomas, Jacey, and Hannah. He was preceded in death by his mother; and two brothers, Don and Dale Maxon. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday, at Church of Christ, St. John, with Pastor Carl Feril presiding. Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Thursday with the family receiving friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m., at Minnis Chapel, St. John. Burial will be at 3 p.m. Friday, in Highland Cemetery, Wakefield. Memorials may be sent to Wakefield Farm Machinery Museum or to the Junction City Rodeo Club, in care of the funeral chapel.
