He departed this life on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 59 years. Ken graduated from Superior High School with the class of 1970. On July 12, 1971 Ken was united in marriage to Carol Coxbill. This union was blessed with the birth of two children a son and a daughter. Ken worked for Mid-America Dairymen, Inc. in Superior, NE for 28 years. When the plant closed, he and Carol moved to Lincoln, NE where he was a mail carrier, worked for Garner Industries, and for the last 12 years worked for Sensory Effects (formerly U.S. Foods, LLC) as purchasing agent. Ken is survived by his wife, Carol, his son Jason and wife Tricia of Lincoln, NE; daughter, Laura and husband Rollin Biel, Elkhorn, NE; his grandchildren, Vashti and Bryce Adams of Lincoln, NE; his parents, John and Wanda Adams, Superior, NE; sisters and brother-in-laws, Kay and Max Adams, Omaha, NE; Becky and Dave South, Iola, KS; Tami and Krage Kowalki, Lincoln, NE; many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Funeral services will be held this Tuesday 2:00 PM, February 8, 2011 at the United Methodist Church in Superior, NE. Rev. Jocelyn Tupper will be officiating. Burial will be held in the Evergreen Cemetery, Superior, NE. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.wmsfh.com. Memorials to St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lincoln, NE. Williams Funeral Home of Superior, NE is in charge of the arrangements.
