C. and Sarah Jane Amelia Cole, Kinnard spent some of his early years in Arkansas and Mountain Grove, MO. Then his family moved to Sunnyside, WA, in 1937. C. and Sarah Jane Amelia Cole, Kinnard spent some of his early years in Arkansas and Mountain Grove, MO. Then his family moved to Sunnyside, WA, in 1937. In 1945 Kinnard married June Kraft, and moved to Alamogordo, NM, where he was stationed in the Army Air Corps, moving back to Sunnyside after his military discharge. In 1962, Kinnard, June, and their four children moved to Vancouver, Washington. Kinnard is survived by twin sons, Jim and Tim, two daughters, Paula and Suzanne, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, a sister, Laura, and a brother, Donald. Kinnard is preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years, June, and a grandson, Jason Michael. Kinnard was a loving husband, dad, grandpa, son, brother, friend, neighbor, teacher, and faithful servant. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, but we rejoice in knowing that he is now at home with the Lord Jesus. Kinnard was a member of Brush Prairie Baptist Church since 1972. A carpenter by trade, he enjoyed Bible-study, gardening, and sharing his wood-crafting skills, along with construction of many homes, businesses, schools, and churches around the community. Even after his retirement in 1987, Kinnard was always busy helping others and volunteering with woodworking and building projects, such as the Open House Ministries Shelter in Vancouver. He will be remembered for his love of the Lord by all who knew him. A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 3, at 2 p.m., followed by a Memorial Service at 3 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel, 1101 NE 112th Ave, Vancouver.
