She married Kenneth (Kenny) Keith June 30, 1946, in the Buck Creek Methodist Church, Hopkinton, Iowa.A graduate of Delhi High School in 1945, she was secretary for an insurance company while Kenny was serving in the Navy during World War II. She married Kenneth (Kenny) Keith June 30, 1946, in the Buck Creek Methodist Church, Hopkinton, Iowa.A graduate of Delhi High School in 1945, she was secretary for an insurance company while Kenny was serving in the Navy during World War II. She earned her PHT degree helping him get through business college and law school. They have lived in Ottumwa since 1953.She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Ottumwa and she attended East Naples United Methodist Church while in Naples, Fla. She belonged to the United Methodist Women, King's Daughters and PEO, Chapter HR.She enjoyed being a wife, mother and homemaker. She loved having her family and friends in her home where they would enjoy her cooking and laughter. Her hobbies included playing bridge, communicating on the Internet with friends and family and riding horses. She was a kind and gentle woman, a gracious hostess who made everyone feel welcome in their home. She loved to visit and laugh with her friends and family. She always remembered the birthdays of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and sent each one a birthday card with a gift each year. She loved her family.Surviving are her high school sweetheart and husband, Kenny; two sons, Les (Cathy) Keith and Lloyd (Joni) Keith, both of Ottumwa; two daughters, Kathy (Scott) Gray of Ottumwa and Sylvia (Bill) Kreamalmyer of West Burlington; 14 grandchildren, Danny (Andria) Keith of St. Louis, Mo., Willie (Jennifer) Keith of Ottumwa, Lindsey (Phil) Ellerbee of Alta, Ga., Wes Keith of West Des Moines, Kenny (Keitha) Keith and Aaron Keith, both of Ottumwa, Justin (Cathy) Hines of Madison, Wis., Amber (Damian) Lonsdale of Sioux City, Addie Gray of Des Moines, Laci, Jessica, Kelsi and Sarah Keith all of Ottumwa and Amy (Ryan) Van Maanen of Des Moines; 11 great-grandchildren, Shealyn, Kirsten, Brendan, Samantha, Claire, Trey, Alyvia, Josiah, Miley, Emerson and Delphina; three brothers, Mervin, Ronald and Norman Miles all of Delaware Co., Iowa; two sisters, Doris Priebe of Cleveland, Ohio, and Mary Haigh of Delaware Co., Iowa.She was preceded in death by two sons, Daniel Clarke Keith and William Miles Keith Sr.; her twin brother, LeRoy Miles and three sisters, Winona Flanagan, Gertrude Flanagan and Dixie DeHaven.Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Judith Bunyi officiating Burial will be in Ottumwa Cemetery.Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Reece Funeral Home with the family present from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Gideons International.
