GAIL Laura A. Gail, daughter of Thomas A. and Delilah Sellers, was born September 18th, 1882 in Cedar Township, Lucas County, Iowa and passed from this life at her home in Chariton on March 22nd, 1954 at the age of 71 years, 6 months and 4 days. She grew to womanhood in the vicinity where she was born and attended the country school nearby. During her younger years she placed her membership in the Bethel United Brethren Church. On August 23rd, 1905 she was united in marriage to George H. Larimer, who preceded her in death. To this union four children were born, Wilma E., who died in infancy, and three sons who remain to mourn her passing. They are Paul E. of Valentine, Nebraska; Hugh W. of Sterling, Illinois; and Harold T. of Russell. She is also survived by three grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Ethel Clanin of Russell; three brothers, Mark and Ray Sellers of Russell and Orlan of Chariton; also several nieces and nephews, and a host of relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Bert. On December 14th, 1932 she was united in marriage to George Gail, who also preceded her in death. Most of her life was spent in and around the county where she was born. She will be greatly missed by her loved ones and friends. Funeral services were held at the Miley Funeral Home Thursday at 2 p.m., conducted by Rev. A. E. Beals. Burial was in the Bethel Cemetery.
