Yokom, 66, who passed away April 18 at a Bismarck hospital. The Rev. S. W. Samuelson, Turtle Lake, Pastor of the Methodist church, officiated. Death occurred suddenly that evening, the result of a heart ailment. Laura Belle Walker-Yokom was born at Collins, Iowa, Oct. 13, 1877. She lived in Iowa until 1885, when the family moved to Nebraska. There she grew to young womanhood, and on Dec. 17, 1901, was united in marriage to Charles S. Yokom. In 1902, Mr. and Mrs. Yokom moved to Hurdsfield, where two daughters, Lois and Marjory (Mrs. E. A. Clark) were born. In 1914 the family moved to McClusky where they have since resided. She leaves besides her husband, daughters, Lois of Froid, Mont., and Mrs. Clark of Seattle, Wash., one sister, Mrs. C. C. Hartford of Oakland, Ore., three brothers, Ed A. Walker and John T. Walker of Page, Nebr., and Dave N. Walker of Vineland, J.J. Two brothers and four sisters preceded her in death. Pallbearers were F. W. Fallensbee, B. F. Eppler, Theo. Knutson, Hubert Oliver, J. A. Hamilton and O. W. Mummert.
