Fisher passed away at home in Tobias, July 3, 1937, at 5:30 P.M. After a period of illness lasting several months. She attained the age of 65 years, 5 months and 16 days. Laura E. Crays was born in Palmyra, Ill. February 17, 1876, where she lived until she was 13 years old. She then moved with her parents to Nebraska locating at Tobias where she has lived since. She was united in marriage with William Fisher February 25, 1912. He preceded her in death February 12, 1934. She united with the Methodist Church at an early age and was an earnest worker and a faithful believer until death. She leaves to mourn her death 3 brothers and 4 sisters and several nephews and nieces. Funeral services were held at 1:30 o'clock at her home with Rev. Schaub of Ohiowa officiating. Mrs. Frank Bartunek sang. Burial in the Tobias Cemetery. Those from out of town attending the funeral were Mr. & Mrs. C. M. Dougherty, Mr. & Mrs. E. L. Dougherty, Mr. & Mrs. J. W. Crays, Roy Crays, Marjory Helsing all of Lincoln, Mrs. Fred Glass, Mr. & Mrs. Ora Glass, Mrs. Marie Broderick, Mrs. Frances Mc Reynolds all of Fairfield, Mrs. W. Babers of Edgar, Mr. & Mrs. Ben Kirchoff of Alexandria, Mr. & Mrs. Charles Pike, Mrs. Harold Uden of Bruning, Mrs. Pete Kristufek and Mr. & Mrs. Frank Obern of Crete. Tobias Paper ----17 July 1937
