Description	:	Laura Mae Bridwell, daughter of Walter and Anna Dora (Mosier) Beaver, was born in Chester, Nebraska, on July 17, 1895. She passed away May 26, 1990, at Brodstone Memorial Nuckolls County Hospital in Superior at the age of 94 years, 10 months and 9 days. At the age of five the family moved to Iowa and made their home in the Red Oak and Griswold area where she attended school. They moved back to Nebraska where they spent the remainder of their lives. She passed away May 26, 1990, at Brodstone Memorial Nuckolls County Hospital in Superior at the age of 94 years, 10 months and 9 days. At the age of five the family moved to Iowa and made their home in the Red Oak and Griswold area where she attended school. They moved back to Nebraska where they spent the remainder of their lives. On July 14, 1917, she was united in marriage to Edward E. Bridwell in Wellington, Colorado. This union was blessed with four children. Laura was a member of the First Baptist Church of Superior and a past member of the Rebekah Lodge. She enjoyed crocheting, and had made many many beautiful pieces that she shared with family members and friends. She loved gardening and always had a beautiful, bountiful garden and flowers. She was a very good cook and many family members and friends had the privilege to taste her wonderful fried chicken. She had also done baby sitting for many families in the area. Preceding in death were her parents; her husband, Edward E. Bridwell, who passed away March 17, 1964; a son, Charles H. Bridwell, who passed away October 7, 1976; a son-in-law, Wayne O. Schultz on February 4, 1989; one grandchild; five great grandchildren, one great great grandchildren; four sisters, Alice, Edna, Ada and Leotha; and two brothers, John and Clifford Beavers. Survivors include her son, Ernest E. Bridwell of Nelson and his wife Blanche of Superior; two daughters, Norma Comstock and her husband Wilbur of Prescott Valley, Arizona, and Virginia (Ginny) Schultz of Superior; 14 grandchildren and many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 29, 1990, at 2:00 p.m. from the Megrue-Price Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Phillip Thomas officiating. Music was provided by soloist Brett J. Conaway singing selections of "Rock of Ages" and "Beyond the Sunset" and Rev. Thomas singing "Whiter Than Snow" and "The Old Rugged Cross" with Carlita Price as organist and accompanist. Casketbearers were Randy Schultz, Charles K. Bridwell, Edward Bridwell, Bob Barker, Joe Price, Arlo Petersen, John Price, Jr. and Robert Bridwell. Honorary pallbearers were Richard Comstock and Raymond Bridwell. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery near Superior. Megrue-Price Funeral Home of Superior was in charge of the arrangements.
