Description	:	Lawrence A. Dush, 90, of Fullerton died Monday, Feb. 7, 2011, at Litzenberg Long Term Care in Central City. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Peter Catholic Church in Fullerton. The Richard Whiteing will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Peters Catholic Cemetery in Fullerton. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the church with a Scripture service and rosary at 7. Palmer Funeral Home in Fullerton is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Dush was born Jan. 19, 1921, at Duncan to John and Victoria (Starostka) Dush. Survivors of the immediate family include his wife, Nellie; two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Stella Dush of Duncan and Joe and Tina Dush of Worms; two daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Albert Micek of Fullerton and Joyce and Phil Bish of Centennial, Colo.; 12 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; two brothers and sister-in-laws, Dennis and Monica Dush of Duncan and Leonard and Ester Dush of Silver Creek; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Florence and Dick Schmidt of Monroe, Mary Ann and Joe Steiner of Fremont, Peggy Eller of Duncan; one sister-in-law, Dorothy Dush of Duncan. He attended St. Stanislaus School in Duncan. On Feb. 26, 1945, he married Nellie Jareske at St. Stanislaus Church at Duncan. He briefly worked for Union Pacific in Omaha. He was a lifelong farmer and also worked for the Nance County Roads Department as a maintainer operator for 22 years. He deeply loved his wife, children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church serving as an usher for many years; and the Holy Name Society. He enjoyed listening to Polish music, dancing, playing cards, watching wrestling, gardening and raising livestock. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Andrew (Dorothy) Dush, Charles (Dorothy) Dush, John (Terry) Dush, Walter (Esther) Dush; four sisters and brothers-in-law, an infant sister, Mary Dush, Helen (Alex) Zelasney, Vicky (Bill) Ebner, Kathryn (Steve) Augustine; two grandchildren, Kelly Dush and Emily Dush.
