Description	:	CENTRAL CITY — Nellie Marie Dush, 92, died peacefully on Thursday, April 13, 2017, at Litzenberg Memorial Long Term Care in Central City and then went on to her new home in heaven. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Peter Catholic Church in Fullerton. The Rev. Richard Whiteing will officiate. Burial will be in St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery at Fullerton. Read More	CENTRAL CITY — Nellie Marie Dush, 92, died peacefully on Thursday, April 13, 2017, at Litzenberg Memorial Long Term Care in Central City and then went on to her new home in heaven. Palmer-Santin Funeral Home in Fullerton is in charge of the arrangements. Nellie was born March 15, 1925, to Tony and Frances (Liss) Jareske in the North Star community. She was the youngest of four children. She attended rural Sunflower school until the eighth grade at North Star. On Feb. 26, 1945, Nellie married Lawrence Dush at St. Stanislaus Church in Duncan. They lived in Omaha for three years, then returned to the area to farm near Clarks and raised a family. They later farmed near Fullerton and near Silver Creek before moving to Fullerton in 1973. Nellie also lived at Valley View Assisted Living before moving to Central City a few years ago. Nellie was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and St. Ann’s Altar Society. Nellie spent her life being a homemaker. She also worked part-time at a day care facility in Fullerton. She enjoyed weekly bingo at the American Legion. Nellie was an excellent cook and baker. Every dish she made tasted wonderful and her family adored her cooking and baking. She was also a wonderful gardener and seamstress and made clothes and quilts for her children, Barbie doll clothes for her granddaughters and knitted caps for a needy children’s organization. Surviving members of her family include two sons, Bob (Stella) Dush of Duncan and Joe (Tina) Dush of Worms; two daughters, Barbara (Albert) Micek of Fullerton and Joyce (Phil) Bish of Centennial, Colo.; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two brothers-in-law, Dennis (Monica) Dush of Columbus and Leonard (Esther) Dush of St. Libory; and four sisters-in-law, Florence Schmidt of Columbus, Mary Ann (Joe) Steiner of Fremont, Dorothy Dush and Theo Jareske, both of Duncan. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tony and Frances; husband, Lawrence; two sisters, Helen (Al) Riskowski and Polly (Louie) Slizoski; brother, Martin Jareske; two grandchildren, Kelly Dush and Emily Dush; five sisters-in-law, Peg (George) Eller, Kathryn (Steve) Augustine, Victoria Ebner, Helen (Alex) Zelsaney, and Mary Dush (infancy); and six brothers-in-law, John (Terri) Dush, Andrew (Dorothy) Dush, Joe (Mary) Dush, Charles Dush, Walter (Esther) Dush and Dick Schmidt.
