Born in Grand Forks, North Dakota to Sarah and Lawrence Goodrich in 1927 the sixth of seven children. He served in the US Navy during World War II and attended the University of North Dakota. He married Frances Baxter in 1949 and is survived by his wife and two children, Craig Goodrich (Sara) and Julie Goodrich Doughty (Bill). He was predeceased by his daughter Patricia Goodrich Rees. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to the Overlake Hospital Foundation CCU unit, 1035 116th Ave. NE, Bellevue, WA 98004 or a charity of the donor's choice.
