Description	:	Urbana – Lawrence Floyd, 64, of near Urbana, died Friday afternoon at Mercy hospital in Cedar Rapids following a lingering illness. He was born July 15, 1907, on a fram near Vinton, a son of Justis D., and Cora Wyckoff Floyd. On March 14, 1928, he was united in marriage to Ida Kelty of Urbana. Besides his widow, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Joe (Rosalyn) Rhinehart of Medford, Ore.; and Mrs. Richard (Donna) Meyocks of Cedar Rapids, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild; three sisters, Mrs. Clark Ferguson and Mrs. Emory Gates of Vinton and Mrs. Robert Gillaspey of... He was preceded in death by a daughter, a brother and sister. Floyd, who farmed between Urbana and Vinton, was a member of the Urbana United Methodist church, Vinton Masonic Lodge, Izaak Walton League, Fram Bureau and a former 4-H leader for many year. Funeral services were held this afternoon in the Urbana United Methodist Church with Rev. Richard Ludden officiating. Burial was in the Kisling cemetery.
