Description	:	Robert William "Bob" Tabor, 54, of Terre Haute died at 8:34 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4, 2005, in Wishard Hospital in Indianapolis. He was a heavy equipment operator and had been the lead operator and trainer at International Paper, formerly Weston Paper, where he had worked for 33 years. Edmonson Tabor, whom he married April 11, 1970, in Terre Haute; a daughter and son-in-law, Melissa “Misty” and Alan Grayless of Terre Haute; a son, Josh Robert Tabor of Terre Haute; his mother of Terre Haute; five sisters, Dyrenda “Sis” Hyde and her companion, Jason Dellinger of South Carolina, Lizbeth “Betty” McDonald and her husband Rich of Mishawaka, Paula Meehan and her husband Mike of West Terre Haute, Catherine Lynn of Indianapolis, and Tracy Hines and her husband Rick of Terre Haute; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Steve and Darla Tabor of Hamilton, Ohio, and Mark and Sherry Tabor of Farmersburg; his mother-in-law, Colleen Moffitt and her companion, Joe of Tucson, Ariz.; a sister-in-law, Rita Gelia and her husband Lew of Tucson; three brothers-in-law, Richard Edmonson of Oregon, Brian Edmonson and James Edmonson, both of Terre Haute; seven grandchildren, David Swinefurth III, Sean Robert Swinefurth, Amber Grayless, Elanie Grayless, Alan “Trey” Grayless III, Joshua Coffee, and Nathaniel Layman; lifelong special friends, Minnie and Jette Faulkner of West Terre Haute, and Billie and Rick Entrican of Indianapolis; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father; and grandparents, Robert and Elizabeth Prouse. He was a Marine veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of United Steel Workers Union Local 7-613 and P.A.C.E. Union Local 6-0613, both of Terre Haute, where he had served as president, vice president, shop steward and a safety committeeman. Services are 2 p.m. Tuesday in Fitzpatrick-Pearce Funeral Home, with the Rev. Chris Wilbur officiating. Burial is in Bethesda Memorial Park, with graveside military rites by the Vigo County Veterans Honor Guard. Pallbearers are Josh Tabor, Brock Tabor, Chance Tabor, Jim Tabor, David Swinefurth III and Alan Grayless. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, and prior to services Tuesday. The family suggests that if friends so desire, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
