Description	:	Born on August 8, 1920 in Milford Township, LD was the son of the late Ora and Ruth (Buda) Grandey. LD was a 1938 graduate of Farmer High School. On April 26 1941, he was united in marriage to June Moog in Hicksville at the United Methodist Church parsonage by Rev. Paul D. Chiles. LD retired from Hayes Albion in Bryan, Ohio. He was also a lifelong farmer. LD was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, Hicksville. Read More	Born on August 8, 1920 in Milford Township, LD was the son of the late Ora and Ruth (Buda) Grandey. LD was a 1938 graduate of Farmer High School. On April 26 1941, he was united in marriage to June Moog in Hicksville at the United Methodist Church parsonage by Rev. Paul D. Chiles. LD retired from Hayes Albion in Bryan, Ohio. He was also a lifelong farmer. LD was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, Hicksville. He was a member of the Antique Auto Club of America, (Adrian Michigan Region) and the Model T Club of America. He restored antique cars and tractor and showed his cars nationally and his tractors locally. He enjoyed going to car shows and car flea markets. He enjoyed going to sporting events and other activities of his grandchildren and great grandchildren. LD is survived by two daughters, Nancy (Joe) Hoene, Bryan, Ohio, Myra English, Cecil, Ohio; a son, Larry D. (Kay) Grandey of Mt. Vernon, Ohio; (11) grandchildren; (34) great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; sister in law, Helen Grandey. He was preceded in death by his wife, June, three sisters, Laverne and Gwendolyn in infancy, and Vivian (Max) Hook, and a brother, Virgil Grandey. Funeral services will be Friday at 12:00 at Grace United Methodist Church, Hicksville with Pastor Greg Wack officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 at Smith & Brown Funeral Home and one hour before the service at the church. Burial will be in Lost Creek Cemetery, Hicksville.
