NEWSPAPER OBITUARY: Lecta Iverson Funeral Held On Saturday Funeral services for Mrs. Iver Iverson, 78, were held at 2 p.m. October 10 at the Assembly of God church with Rev. R. Austin Shelton officiating. She passed away at the Dakota hospital Oct. 7 after a brief illness. Burial was in Bluff View cemetery under the direction of Elmore-Wagner funeral home. Lecta Gray was born Aug. 10, 1881 in Union county, S. D. She was married to Iver Iverson May 5, 1909 in Vermillion and the couple made their home on a farm in Norway township for many years. She was a member of the Assembly of God church. Survivors include the widow; three sons, Loyal Brown and Clyde Iverson of Vermillion, Ralph Iverson of Sturgis; one daughter, Mrs. Lorena Rasmussen of Vermillion; one sister, Mrs. James Brown of Vermillion; 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Casket bearers were Lester, John and Lloyd Gray and Clarence, Roy and Harvey Mount.
